- Not every Energy Star Window qualifies for Earned Credit.
- Tax Credit Specifications States windows must have the following, u-factor < 0.30 an a solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC)2 <0.30 to qualify.
- This is very important. There are windows on the market in this area that are Energy Star but will not qualify for the credit.
- Ask your Sales Rep for the NFRC Ratings before buying.
